Cantina Crifo

Cantina di Ruvo di Puglia’s primary objective is to produce high quality wines which, through their aromatic characteristics, luster and flavors, speak of a generous land, rich in charm, history and culture: the Bari Murgia and, in particular, the area between Castel del Monte and Ruvo di Puglia. The historical vineyards which give birth to wines are found on these hillsides, which slope from 450 to 250 meters above sea level and are characterized by a typically Mediterranean climate and a clayey soil. Bombino Bianco, Greco, Trebbiano and Pampanuto are used for white wines which are neutral, fruity and well-structured.

Bombino Nero is an excellent and unequaled base for creating rosés with a refined structure and elegance. Nero di Troia, Sangiovese and Bombino Nero are indispensable varieties for great full-bodied, balanced and harmonious red wines. Moscatello is a typically aromatic variety, an excellent base for sweet and dessert wines.
